Although Sony has advertised that the batteries can last up to 6 hours, so far I’ve gotten a maximum of 3 hours, which isn’t bad at all for a small unit. Video playback was good, and glare under bright lights wasn’t too bad either, thanks to the screen’s matte surface. The Sony DVP-FX930 is, overall, a pretty good portable DVD player. It will be a great travel companion during long trips and vacations.
