Blinder Laser Jammer review

The Blinder M27 is Blinder’s new and improved version of the M25. With more powerful locking heads, the M27 is a widely used jammer.

When looking at the two units in a side-by-side comparison, the M 27 is almost identical to the M25. From the mounting brackets, CPU, wiring, and locking heads, the M-27 is indiscernible from its big brother. Out of the box, Blinder has included all the necessary wiring, an external speaker, the CPU, and two locking heads.

Installation is almost effortless. Being somewhat familiar with car electronics, a hobbyist installer can easily connect this unit. All that is needed is a power source and a land. Wiring the locking heads through the firewall is easy thanks to the telephone-style connectors that are small enough to fit through the smallest hole. Then all that remains is to mount the locking heads. This is where it gets a bit difficult.

The mounting brackets are independent of each other, which means that each side of the blocker head is supported by a separate bracket. To work properly, the locking heads must be perfectly straight and perfectly level with the road. This means that for the heads to mount properly, you need to find 2 separate perfectly level surfaces on the car. This could be easy if mounted on top of a bumper, but most people don’t want two large blocker heads positioned awkwardly at the front of their vehicle. Proper head installation is difficult to complete on many vehicles, which is why most shield users create their own mounting brackets.

Once the heads are mounted correctly, the M27 is greatly improved over the previous version. With more powerful heads and a fully upgradeable CPU, this new unit is ready for all new LIDAR guns being developed. In most cases, this unit will jam the LIDAR up to the gun. However, the Blinder has some interference problems.

With certain pistols, such as the Ultralyte LR-B, the Blinder laser jammer will occasionally fail. Independent tests have shown that vehicles with two locking heads at the front of the vehicle do not cover highly reflective areas such as headlights. This is particularly undesirable because police officers are often trained to aim for headlights when an instantaneous speed reading does not occur. To solve this problem, a type of laser headlight protection may be required. Laser Veil is a paint liquid that is applied to headlights. Applying this to the headlights will greatly help the Blinder to get better interference results.

Another solution is the Blinder M47. This is the M27 with two additional locking heads. If a user is having trouble with the M27’s jamming capabilities, the two additional heads are great for better results. The two additional locking heads will make the vehicle bulletproof for most LIDAR weapons in almost all situations.

Overall, the M27 is a high-quality, good-performance blocker. The M27 is suitable for smaller vehicles with a smaller profile. The M47 is used to cover weak spots in smaller vehicles or protect large trucks or SUVs.
